Jehovah God is bigger than ISIS.
Jehovah God is bigger than the Paris Terrorist Attacks.
Jehovah God is bigger thanISIS’s strutting and bullying.
Jehovah God is bigger than Jihad John.
It is Jehovah God who sets kings up and takes them down. And it is Jehovah God that holds the hearts of world leaders in His hand. (Proverbs 21:1)
“They did so, and brought these five kings out to him from the cave: the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon. When they brought these kings out to Joshua, Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said to the chiefs of the men of war who had gone with him, “Come near, put your feet on the necks of these kings.” So they came near and put their feet on their necks. Joshua then said to them, “Do not fear or be dismayed! Be strong and courageous, for thus the LORD will do to all your enemies with whom you fight.” -Joshua 10:24,
This is not a time to fear, but rather a time to fight.
David fought, and Goliath fell. (1 Samuel 17)
Joshua fought, and Jericho crumbled. (Joshua 6)
Gideon fought, and the Midianite Army was incapacitated. (Judges 7)
You may say, “I am not a warrior.” Well then, consider those who defeated whole armies, or were saved from destruction just by being obedient, and in some cases, just by acting in sheer desperation.
The four lepers who God used to deliver a city.(2 Kings 7)
The widow who was supernaturally provided for because she gave the prophet the last of her meal and oil. (2 Kings 4)
The prostitue who saved her family in wartime just becausse she let down a rope. (Joshua 2)
Again, I say, this is not a time to fear, but rather a time to fight.
A time to fight like Paul and Silas did in jail.
“But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them; and suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were unfastened.…” (Acts 16)
A time to fight, like the Apostle Paul did when he admonished the New Testament Church that their weapons were not carnal, but spiritual.
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, 4for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,…” (2 Corinthians 10)
A time to fight, like Jesus instructed His disciples to do, when they could not cast a demonic spirit out of a little boy.
“And He said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. “But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” (Matthew 17)
Spirit-filled, blood bought, Christian, this is our greatest hour. This is what we’ve been preparing for all our life. This is our time to shine. This is the day, and the season, for us to step into and operate in Apostolic Authority.
The only thing a Christian needs to fear is a lackluster prayer life. For without, true, hell shaking, demon-busting, spirit-demonstrating prayer we are powerless against the evil in this world.
Prayers for Paris
My heart hurts for the Parisians today. For those who suffered. For those who died. And for those who are left to deal with the aftermath. I for one, and taking my sadness and frustration to Jehovah God in prayer… in fasting… in preparation for the greatest moment in all of Biblical and world history that is about to come. Why? Because Jehovah God is BIGGER.
…And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS…
…I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.…”
So so true! I agree wholeheartedly. Thank you for speaking boldly in love and Truth.
Jesus wept when Lazarus died, I am sure that there were tears in heaven yesterday. I am saddened by the state of the world, humans acting inhumanely. If we could all just follow those 10 very simple commandments, what a wonderful, beautiful, and glorious creation of God would this be. Today I pray that our world will change before it is too late.
Well done.
Thank you!! Truly, God is in control… No matter what it may look like.
Amen. . .Amen. . .Amen!
Amen… So true
Thank you for reminding us that God has not given us a spirit of fear!
