Unspeakable joy can be ours when we run to our Heavenly Father with every bump and bruise. It’s only when we try to lick our own wounds that sadness, resentment, and bitterness set in.
Do you want overflowing joy in your day-to-day life? Run to Jesus!
It doesn’t mean that there won’t be any problems. People will still disappoint you. But the difference is that when you run to Jesus and hide in Him, you no longer have to fight or struggle. It’s Jesus’ job to that for you.
What a glorious benefit of living every day with Jesus! Remember, in Jesus there is always hope, always peace, and always safety. So run with confidence to the outstretched arms of your loving and gracious heavenly Father.
“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.” (John 16:33)
